I’m fascinated by people.
I love collaborating across disciplines to learn, experiment, and solve meaningful problems at the intersection of digital products, services, and the physical world. My superpower is helping teams harness design and research to shape product strategy, and I have a proven track record of bringing innovative concepts from 0 to 1, transforming complex systems into delightful user experiences, and driving behavior change and product-led growth through strategic iteration and data-driven experimentation.
I’ve worked on nearly every part of the human-centered design process. I got started designing native mobile apps way back when smartphones were brand new, and my work also includes omni-channel experiences, browser features, touchscreen kiosks, web applications and websites. I've worked with and within in-house product teams, design studios, government agencies, start-ups and non-profits on brands like Walmart, Mozilla, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Delta Air Lines, U.S. Postal Service, LEGO and more.
I live with my husband and two small children outside Chicago. When I'm not at work, I like hanging out with my family, going to rock shows, eating Mexican food, outdoorsy stuff, and collecting records & cassette tapes. Once upon a time, I fell in love with cross-references while working in a record store, played in bands and got people to dance to handclaps & tambourines (maybe I'll do it again someday?).
