Black Telephone cassette tape packaging
Cassette tape packaging created for my band, Black Telephone. Released in October 2010, the cassette was limited to 100 copies and contains four demo tracks (and a digital download).
My band recorded four demos to submit for consideration for playing the Fort Reno DC Summer Concert Series in Washington, DC. We were accepted—Fort Reno was our second show ever, opening for Soft Power (Mary Timony of Helium, Autoclave, Wild Flag and currently Ex Hex).
Following its release, the tape attracted the attention of a few media outlets & was featured in the Washington Post (Cassettes Make A Comeback), the Washington City Paper (Best of 2011 Poll - DC's Best Medium 2011: Cassette and On the Pleasures of Receiving a Cassette in the Mail) and several music blogs.
